Three ladies of our garden

I slipped outside in between rain clouds today because I didn't want to miss taking pictures of the three beloved ladies who reside in our garden: Gertrude Jekyll, Betty Corning and Mrs. Cholmondeley
(pronounced, if you can believe it, "Chumley"). They all happen to be blooming simultaneously this year...a sight to behold! The only thing I wish I could also include in this post is the intoxicatingly sweet, citrusy fragrance of good ol' Gertie.
If only there were scratch and sniff blogs...

Betty

Mrs. Cholmondeley
